Dr Muhammad Hussain
M.B.B.S, D.C.P, M.I.C.G.P
Dr Hussain has 25 years of experience in the medical field, rotating through ENT surgery, paediatrics, emergency medicine and psychiatry in both urban and rural settings across Ireland before commencing his GP training. Dr Hussain obtained his membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP) in 2016 and is registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
Dr Hussain enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has taken over the patient list of a retiring GP in Myshall in 2017. He aims to provide comprehensive GP and primary care as well as providing health awareness for the local community.
Dr Hussain holds a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry certified by the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland and has received certificates in palliative medicine, chronic disease management and dermatology.
In his free time Dr Hussain enjoys travelling, reading and photography.
Practice Nurse: Lorraine
Lorraine is a compassionate, empathetic and patient-centred professional with over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Accident and Emergency Dept Tallaght University Hospital. She has a broad range of experience; she also has a diploma in counselling and has special interest in mental health, well-being and general health promotion.
Lorraine joined Myshall GP clinic as a practice nurse in 2019. She looks after childhood vaccine, cervical smear tests, ECG, spirometry and 24Hour blood pressure monitor.
Practice Manager: Asma
Asma has over 10 years of experience in Health Informatics and Management. She achieved her Master's degree in Health Informatics from Trinity College, Dublin and also holds a Specialist Diploma in Practice Management certified by the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP).  Her professional manner, interpersonal skills and caring approach to both patients and clinical staff alike are a vital service to the practice.
Practice Receptionist: Kathy
Kathy has many years of experience working in the healthcare environment, from her time as a dental admin she got a diploma in medical administration. Kathy joined Myshall Clinic as a medical receptionist in 2020. She is a friendly and indispensable part of our team; she is always on hand to give you a warm welcome and to assist in the smooth running of our practice.
